Cant view demos

whenever i try and view a demo it says cant find altweapon kar98k_sniper_2x_mp' for Kar98k_sniper_mp..

hwo can i fix this??

well i'm not sure, but it might be because of a skin you downloaded or a mod you didn't know you downloaded and since the demo doesn't have that skin, you can't replace it. i would put your mods in a different folder, then try viewing the demos.

Are you sure this happens with every demo try? coz that usually happens when the demo is recorded on a server that has a mod running, and if someone tried to watch it without that mod installed then you get that sort of error.

Mods are located in the "Main" folder, just look for pk3 files with names relating to weapons, and the names often start with several Z's at the start...and if you find anything like that do what hambones said, move them into a different folder, and see if that works.

i got it fixed. the problem was a __AR_SCOPE or something close to that. Legendary^ Puppy! helped me out with that. thx ne ways
