Alternative to MediPacks

While doing a bit of scripting, I came across a problem. The problem was how to kill someone when they touch something. It took me a while of reading the single player scripts and some mod scripts but I finally came to a solution of a problem I had a while ago.

I have made a regeneration station (they were used in Doom style games for getting health back).

The Pros of this...
No need for models (models cause lower fps)
They are simple to add to your map
They can be adjusted to your own personal level (e.g only allow the player to get 50 health back from it)

I will make a good looking prefab of it with the required gsc file and upload asap.

cool i would really like to find that gsc and stuff but i hate gsc's they never work for me always get errors.. or like on my new map.. i can only get 1 fire and as many smokes as i want etc etc + anyone no how to delete spawn points??

Make a new post in future for off topics questions

You can delete spawn points in the map editor.

I'm guessing you cannot for a certain reason (either they are invisible or you cannot select them).

If they are invisible -
Press F to open the "filters" window. Then make sure "entities" is ticked

If you cannot select them -
This is a strange one, but it can happen (accidentle selection of a shortcut). If you are running your screen resolution at 1024x768 or below then you will need to do this.
-Double Click the menu (the shortcut bar below the "file, edit, view, etc" and it will become undocked (like a normal window). Then drag the bottom of the menu to make it double the size (like resizing a window). Now look for an icon with a black 'E' inside a red circle. Make sure this is not selected

If it is neither of these, then give me some more detail

i just tryed that thing drofder and yes i found it and yes i can now select them thnx it was the 2nd one

LoL ?! Just do a brush then right mouse in the grid view Trigger > Hurt
and change the trigger power "dmg" - "500" and a player DIE ! ! !

Not what I wanted. You cannot move a trigger. I wanted a moving object to kill someone not a trigger. There is a whole lot more skill required to do this.

This was posted a while ago and I didnt get around to actually making it (well, making it look good)

The only cons are you have to do a lot of extra stuff.

peds u deleted my spawn point which i didnt want but now i can select them

but my trigger isn't bad ^^ I am not a Scripter but i can help myself
and how should i know that the platform moves
i also need moving Platforms but i don't wanna learn to Script
