problem compiling

problem compiling
during my compileing bsp, when it gets to somthing called "building lightmap groups" or something like that, it crashes and says cod4map.exe has stopped working. The map worked completely before and i only added something that definitely works. please help, i want to finish my map soon.

ive also tried reverting to what i previously had, but it didnt help.

Also tried deleting half of the map... which worked... but i need that so i have no idea.

If deleting half the map works, then the problem lies within the mapping.
Split the map in two and compile both sides, do they both compile?

i found out that cones are causing the compiling error... but it doesnt really make sense. in futile i have like a million cones... is there like a material limit?

Cones and other brush patches aren't designed perfectly. In CoD1 there are a lot of bugs concerning them. I don't think the developers changed much to CoD2 and CoD4 Radiant.

Cones are shit.
Also, lightmaps may need adjusting (CTR+L)
