I've read various reports in books and shit that a lot of soldiers find the D-Day invasion to be the most incredible sighting of their lives, something you'll never see in your life again. The nightly D-Day was basicly the most enormous light show ever. We sure as hell won't ever hold such a sight, that's for sure.

I don't know US Law, but surely a cop doesn't have to carry a court order with him to arrest someone who is commiting a crime (assuming that being where he is, is a crime). Also, can we honestly expect a cop to be perfectly spoken and make no mistakes in his words all the time?

I don't see any abuse, again assuming he has commited a crime (walking on the interstate or failing to comply with a lawful order).

The cop also was very patient. Already a plus right there. The old man started yelling etc.
