Download CoD4 Mod tools. It includes CoD4Radiant, which is used to make maps:

Also, don't write in colour.

Multicolours, is annoying, but a single colour is fine tbh.

Red text on a black background is annoying to read.

Try yellow on black, it's much easier. :)
