Need help loading maps :/

Every time I type /map mp_gap_training into the console is loads the map but when it says settings up game it gives the error 'file name/sum mismatch or something like that. My friend told me to join a codjumper server with a custom map on it to get the usermaps folder but idk how to join a codjumper server -.-

That sounds like a common 1.0 bug, upgrade to 1.7.

If not, clear out any custom files that may be in your /main folder or anywhere else.

Delete or move out any maps and mods that you don't want/need, that will fix it.

Where can I find the maps/mods because they aren't in my Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare folder...

I had the exact same problem, patch the game to 1.6 and then to 1.7 and you will be ok.

im on 1.7 and it still happened when i tried to load 4gf_jump
