Problems with my FPS & ping at the same time

I have a couple of problems with my FPS and my ping.

When I do 'com_maxfps 125', my ping goes up to 100+ and my FPS is around 90+ (?),
but when I do 'com_maxfps 60', my ping is simply perfect and around 15+, and my FPS ofcourse, around 60.
This is really weird. I never had any big problems like this one with FPS in my life on this computer. It was always very easy for me to get 125 FPS, eventhough I think I should be getting 333 fps since I have a Geforce 9600 GTX with 4gb ram.

Does anybody knows how to fix this? It's bugging me and I can't perform any jumps anymore.
I usually go by /rate 25000, /cl_maxpackets 60, /snaps 20 or 40 (doesn't make any sense for me) and my graphics are the lowest possible.

Sync Every Frame, check that option.

Also, I'm fairly certain you can get 333 FPS with that card on lowest settings. I could easily get 333 FPS with my 9800GTX even on 'bad' maps like Overgrown and Downpour.

Lol. It's not that I can't get my FPS higher than 60. Ofcourse I know about the Sync Every Frame function.
But it's just that I can't even get 125 FPS anymore, eventhough I WAS actually able to get it. If I do com_maxfps 125 my ping will increase to 100+ or even 150+. But, I don't have any ping problems with com_maxfps 60.

And yeah I know right? I should have 333 fps but I just can't get it. I'm running Windows 7, could that be the problem?

What happens if you start your own server then ? Obviously ping can't be an issue then, can you get 333 FPS if you just host your own ?

Nee man dan is het nog steeds maar rond de 100 FPS.. Kan nergens 125 fps krijgen.

If you still have problems with your fps I would start thinking of what programs you installed lately, and I would let my virusscanner scan my whole computer. It is a bit strange that you first could have 333fps, and now even on your own server not. So the problems isn't @ ping. I would think of a virus or a big program that is always running on the backround

I'm 100% SURE it's the FPS! This is why. When I'm in a server, and I look down, my FPS improves, resulting in a good ping. But when I look at the center of the screen with my gun, my fps goes down and my ping goes up to 100+. And that goes on and on. In my own server, you don't have ping. But my FPS still is around 100+. So it must be the FPS right?
I just copped Avast Pro. Did a full scan, a quick scan, a scan on C:/WINDOWS but it didn't find anything.

So I'm lost. Should I reinstall Windows 7? Or is there a fix?

The only relation to FPS and PING is that the higher your PING the more you are like to have FPS drops.
This DOES NOT happen in reverse, having a bad FPS will NOT affect your ping.

The issues you are having are either PC problems (non-game related) or network problems.

Are you sure you're not just joining USA servers or something stupid like that?
