You speak the truth. It's garbish for most people. I was thinking exactly the same a lot of years back when I first heared it. You will only understand if you actually like metal, and if you do like it, you understand how crap nowadays pop is(Most that is, I value some bands). It's not about taste, it's, it's just a fact.

I dont listen to metal but i also listen to this "underground stuff" and there it's exactly the same. All the musicans who only want to get money or at least to get famous havent deserved it to be played in the radio or at TV shows ...

True that. Most of the time I'm really strict about metal and downgrade everything else but I suppose it counts for most if not all genres.

Music (Or lack of it) which appeal to the masses are in most cases not even the best stuff around. It's just that which is on the radio/TV. People need to broaden their horizon a lot more, there's so much more and better stuff around but all you hear on the radio is the same bullshit songs.

When people hear what I'm listening to most have no clue what it actually is. But I think people who spend a long time on the internet know a hell of a lot more type of genres than people who only listen to MTV and the like.

Yeah thats right, exactly because of this reason I stopped watching this top 100, 20 shows on MTV, VIVA (german thing) ...
But I got friends who listen to the same music like me. soo I'm not alone

I am considered to be "emo" due to the fact I like Lamb Of God, Skrillex, BFMV, S.O.A.D, Dead By April and Pendulum.
Every day I get to hear "Hiya EMO!" , and it sucks. I don't consider myself to be emo due to my taste of music.

The fact that my arms are covered with cuts have no logical connection to my nickname.
