Why complain now? It's already been announced Modern Warfare 3. I expect some extremely hastily made pro-console bullshit to hit the stores every other week; new CoD games get made too fast. Activision does that too much.

Regardless, the era of WWII shooters is long past. Hell, they've even moved Medal of Honor up to Modern so it actually gets sold.

I'll bet that they'll even make a Company of Heroes based in Afghanistan sooner or later.

This is also true, and i didnt say it wasnt announced as MW3 because Activision doesnt care what its consumers think aslong as its making money. so, By seeing how much money MW2 made and Black ops made (not only the game, including map packs, picture packs, avatar designs etc.) it will go on until one game doesnt sell as much then they move onto something new. that is why i do not think the game being developed by sledghammer that says that they are "bring something different" will not sell too much because people like their CoD the way it is and most people who just play, and dont look into the actual game of CoD and just play it, wont like it, and wont buy it. This is my opinion

Picture Packs and Avatar Designs ? What are those ? They must be console specific I suppose since I can't remember them.

Personally I'm fed up with the "new" CoD games. After CoD4 they all sucked one way or another. Both games Treyarch made were the worst i.m.o.
