FPS ?!?

Hello,

I want a good fps bequase i like jumping and a good fps helps alot
This is my system it is not super but good enough i think :
- AMD Athlon XP 2600
- Geforce Fx 5200
- 512 MB
and i dont know if it helps you guys but if i press CTRL + ALT + DELETE i see that i use 203/1250 MB

well explained sam , although panzer, you might also want to get a ne graphics card ifyour serious about gettin good fps...

yes but it is an old card, and the pc might not perform well with it, becausae you may have the best gfx card but a bad pc. and it might not get good fps

To get 125 on the 5200 (my old card) you must have your resolution set to 800x600. Any higher and the card will not perform to its best.
Also set texture levels to medium/normal.

Anything below 5900 in the 5x00 series is a crap card. They were badly designed and did not perform as well as they were suppose to.

Upgrading is the best option.

Also, another thing that was not mentioned above is setting your hunkmegs (the amount of Ram uses to run CoD).
You need to set it to half of your ram, so for you, add this to your config or type in console...

Config - seta com_hunkmegs "256"
Console - /com_hunkmegs 256

I thank you all alot but i already got it working it is not constant 125 fps but 90 -125 but when i look down it is good and i jump with loooking down so no problem. I overclocked my geforce and it worked
