save position cod2 wont work

i cant get my save position mod to work. ive extracted all the files to main

seta scr_saveposition 1
developer 1
sv_pure 0
g_gametype codjumper
devmap/map "mp_toujane"

but it crashes all the time, and if i dont use codjumper and use "dm" i cant save or load position :;/ kinda fucked uped,

Are you using the SPM mod(zzz_savepositionmod.iwd) or the CJ mod(CoDJumperv1.6.iwd)?

SPM mod(zzz_savepositionmod.iwd i have tryed em both ;D but still crashes, kinda frustrating ;D

one error message was like folder/mod/mp/map_errorbackload or something :S

btw cod2 1.3 if it matters

Remove all other folder from your main folder other than the SPM and check your root(Call Of Duty 2) folder for any folders containing mods(the folder will usually have .iwds in it along with the players folder where you can find your config). Remove those folders as well. Do 'seta scr_saveposition 1', 'g_gametype dm' and 'devmap mp_toujane' and report back if it works.

only iwd/miss match now :S what 2 do, kinda long time i used to 2 this thx for the help btw

iwd sum/ mismatch happens when you have too many custom .iwds in your main folder. Are you sure you cleared your main folder of ALL mods other than the SPM?

yes i did, only got like 4 custom jump maps. they are in the main folder is that correct?

now i got it work but the loading screen frees at the end and the map sound is starting. :S

Hm, I don't know why it freezes, perhaps it's a problem with the map. Don't have any custom maps, just the SPM. Then run a stock map and see if it loads.
