Who thought of strafe jumping? also, how did this place start? like who thought of this :Pits great!

well i dont no who thought of strafe jumping, although i know destiny had to figure it out on his own when HE thought of starting this place.. also jumping started in MOH, and slowly progressed into cod, when destiny thought of starting a helpful gaming community, where people who are knowledgable in this subject, can help others who are not....

You could ask anybody here if u wanted some help jumping, im not allowed xfire or msn either but ive still got them lol...

Yup, it did as far as I know, since its a "bug" in the Q3 engine.

in Quake its called defreg its very popular u can strafe so the father of defrag invented it due to its a mod

Defraggin and freestyle in quake is so much more fun than Cod its
the best
but quake is old

When Destiny started this site, he couldn't strafe jump yet.

He already uploaded demos from normal jumps, but then he learned strafing, and even later he learned nade jumps. It's just practise and be lucky on some things.

Example the ladder jump. Some-one was probably just trying to do some silly things with the ladder in Stalingrad and noticed he could jump further with it. I think that's how these things start
