Whats the point in that? Surely they could just put smaller hard drives that delete the data automatically when it finishes copying as standard? Would be alot easier

Guys, ffs...

Its called a PHOTOCOPIER

What else do you think it does, other than copy 'photos'... I seriously am suprised by the shock people display over this. The images are deleted after they are copied, but they are not secure-deleted, so they are still recoverable using data-recovery techniques. This is the same for ALL hard-drives.

Its not overlooked it just is not thought about.

When buying a printer, it will specify whether or not it is hard-drive installed or not. Companies that buy these large printers should haev at least one IT Tech working there and they should know this shit...
