New Project - CoD4 Jump Map Walkthroughs!

We've been working on a new project. Our plan is to start making walkthroughs for all CoD4 jumpmaps and post them on Youtube for people to see. We're hoping that many people will find them useful (So far, the comments are all positive!). If we'll make walkthroughs for CoD1 and CoD2 is yet to be seen. Most of our users still play CoD4 actively.

The idea is to show several things:

- FPS used
- Tips for specific jumps (If any)
- Crouch Jumps (Since it can be tricky to see on some videos)

We're NOT gonna show you how to get access to secret rooms. They shouldn't be spoiled.

Keep in mind that these are all custom maps. So it's impossible for console players to play them, unless they happen to have a CoD4 copy on the PC ofcourse.

We've already made 2 movies so far. Special thanks to Hoogie for creating the videos.

I like it too , giving a taste to the public and people who are new to CoDJumper.com

Also good idea because like that people can see how it's possible to make a jump and what's recuired.

noticed a few things at the Movies.

1) video used Rpg on some of the bounces.
1) every bounce is possible with 125 FPS and no rpg.

2) the last bounce, where text says 'Hold the backwards button [S]' and 'Now hold the forward button [W] And Spacebar to mantle'
2) Keys were not needed, after you bounced, don't touch any of your keys, just mantle up when you reach the top (key needed : Spacebar)

3)Only mp_easy_jump got the 'crouch jump' effect so far, you forgot it in mp_cleopatra.

4)The end of the video from mp_easy_jump is not inside the video. video ended at 85% of the map. The real finish is two rooms further then where the video stopped.

Could you maybe provide me a demo of the jump without RPG ? I was thinking of adding those little pop-up boxes if we were wrong with some jumps (Like you said, no RPG needed).

Your second point. Maybe that works aswell, but this works too, either one is fine

Hoogie recorded cleopatra. We didn't discuss things as thoroughly yet. Next videos will all have a crouch jump notification if it's required. Good example on cleopatra huh, you can't see a crouch jump at all, it just looks like a normal jump.

I didn't include your last room because I originally thought it was a secret room. It's the one with all the RPG jumps going up, some kind of pyramid right ? I didn't include that on purpose.

I think it's an alright idea. Kinda surprised there aren't plenty of them (walkthroughs) already.

Doesn't matter Lol, if the mapper made it that way, it is that way,everywone go his own way of mapping. maybe he made the map there tricky so you had to find a way further, but it's not a secret. just a tricky room.but top of pyramid, picture says 'End'

My suggestion is not to put text in he video but to use video annotations on YouTube. This allows for a correction to be made at a later time. Good work though!

If it's correct from the first time for the next movies. It would be a great idea, but less chance that going to happen.
The idea from sam is much better.

The walkthroughs should appear when you click on a map to download (Go to that page, and click on either cleopatra or easy_jump and you'll see ).
