I am on the new old school server and someone found out how to load a bounce

basically he does a bounce and saves it and when he loads he jumps really high where he is

does anyone know how to do it and can explain it

It does work on the newest versions with a CVAR (or dvar? whatever the diference is). It used to be well known because of a few people, but apparently people seems to have forgot it (which is a good thing).

Actually when I rethink about it, it might have been fixed. Anyway I remember peds enumarating me issues about fixing it and w/e, and IIRC they had finaly found a solution, but I totaly forgot.

nice job if some noobs read this you just messed up all of the cj servers and it will be filled with loadbouncers, nobody will be jumping if they find out, it was fine before only a few people knew but now...

ffs, I have been watching this thread for an answer, its the only way I ever get feedback is by rumoured working exploits or an admin witnessing someone doing it...

I am often getting people on xfire telling me they know about an exploit or something....but then don't tell me how it is done in case I spread it and ruin the game for everybody.....

The general idea is: as long as I do it on my own, it is fine, but as soon as it gets out to everyone else, I shall tell everyone.

believe it or not, i still have the original codjumper files before you patched load bouncing. it was fun at the time.

i haven't seen anyone do it though.

why does it pose such a problem though?

It's a bug of the CJ Mod, not the game itself.

Loadbounce is easy, I'll tell you how to do it. First of all, I believe its nothing to do with codjumper mod so you can't fix it, it doesnt matter on which mod you do it, it works on all.
You need 2 saves and high ping, with +300 its really easy.Then, Save 1 position somewhere, and do other save somewhere before a bounce. So, what you do is:
You jump on the bounce, when you hit the bounce and it gives u the boost up, u need to load the other save, if you get the right timing, when you load the other save, you will jump up from it, its just a lag trick. You hit the bounce and u jump up, u load other position and its like youre still doing the bounce and jumping up.

Well it has , but how can you fix it, the save position happens imminently after u load, and if you make big lag, u slow down the time you load, so you can't fix it unless u kick all the players with ping above 180 (180 is the lowest ping for loadbounce I think). But why would you want to fix that anyway, its just another cool glitch.

Erm I dont see a answer to how to fix it? It doesnt matter what mod you do it on,its not some edit to drofer codjumper mod, it works on every mod that has load and save position , its just lag bug. Unless u put it so the position loads after 5 section u press the button to load(which would be really annoying) you cant fix it.

I lol'd. In my mod, I used this to prevent load bouncing (iirc):

self freezeControls(true);
wait 0.05;
self freezeControls(false);

It's used right after you load, and if the cj mod uses the same thing (cba to check atm), then by simply changing it to "wait 0.3;" would probably fix it. It could be more complex (such as adding in an if statement to check to see who has a ping of over x ammount), but that's what I would do.
