Are there anymore Cod4 Jump maps in the making ?

I'm personally waiting for MW2, but even then I might not release a map / it might take me a while because I will have started my last year of uni by the time it comes out.

I don't know why but there's a serious difference in amount of jump maps if you compare CoD1 and CoD2 to CoD4.

CoD4 is a lot more difficult to make maps for. Not only do you have to account for bounce jumps, but there is also zone files, fast files, reflections, and many other aspects to making a map in CoD4 that did not exist in the other CoDs.

and if you look at some of the cod2 and cod1 maps you wonder if the mapper spent more than 2 hours on it... lol

Funny thing is that the simplest looking maps are mostly the most fun to play. Same with bounces, they mess up the flow u can get when ur doing well in a jump maps, making the map less fun.

I disagree to some amount. Some of the simple maps are very fun, but some are very boring and repetitive... to each their own i suppose

2 hours? pff. Let's see renaissance or lost, they were about 2-3 months hard work.

I never played on CoD4 jump maps, but in cod4 the sprint is makes everything shit... You can't enjoy really the jumping. There are bounce jumps, but if somebody makes a map, it's hard to make bounces in the environment. You need giant free spaces, because ppl will jump somewhere else, makes shorter their way..etc.... Just imagine a jm_castle in cod4. You can't put nowhere bounce jumps, because there isn't enough space.
In cod and cod2, experienced map makers, try to make real environmental maps, but this plan is killed in cod4 or cod waw.
Now do you understand, what's the problem?:)
