Playing Demo's!

Emm i have a problem and i wonder if any of you know how to fix it! when i tpe in /demo (demo name) an error comes up in CoD saying ''Could Not Find AltWeapon 'kar98K_Sniper_mp' for weapon 'kar98K_Sniper_mp'' thats what it says and i dont understand it

can any1 tell me whats gone wrong?

perhaps the guy who have made that demo has a mod in it

You probably have a mod in your main folder yourself.

yes i agree with peds... look for the file in your COD> Main file.... Thten move it (not delete it) see if that works... if it does delete it... if it doesnt... maybe the person that made it has a mod on which is pretty common..

You said that it was perhaps a mod in the main folder of the person who made the demo, rather than the person trying to watch the demo

well iv looked through my main folder and just incase i looked through every other folder and i dont have any mods at all

so i dunno what is coursing this.. i have reinstalled CoD and it just says the same thing!

if i cant watch demo's i cant practice making movie's

I think it must almost certainly be something on your pc, although if you reinstalled CoD and it still didn't work I have no idea

i 1st started getting this when i installed a cracked and copied version of CoDUO and wasnt able to play demo's on both. but i guess that i cudnt on UO coz it was cracked or had a few files missing or something but then i tried playing my demo's in normal cod and they just laughed in my face basically. lol so i reinstalled it and it still happens.. i have a feeling its something to do with UO myself!

got it!

its a custom map that dusnt allow any kar98k to be used and no matter what demo it is that file conflicts with it and courses an error.. but i deleted and thankz again for your help!

its going to be my 1st movie (once i learnt how do use all the programmes that is

) but its probs going to be a mix of all weapons rifle only sniper-no-scope only and mp44 semi auto only etc with s&d ctf and dm also tdm. lots of 360 and 180 and spin kills' multi kills spree's and all that. but im slowly learning how to use stuff.. lol never been good with computer lol..
