CoD5:

- Messed up sound (?)
- Wall Breaching
- Elevating
- Flying Tanks (CoD4 has no vehicles)
- Flipping Tanks (CoD4 has no vehicles)
- Getting inside destroyed tanks (CoD4 has no vehicles)
- Messed up spawns (All CoD Games suffer this, its called logic)
- Imbalanced weapons (Ability to access all weapons mean, imbalance is irrelevant and no different to CoD4)
- Bayonet Jumping (CoD4 has no bayonets)
- Getting inside objects
- Getting underground with deployables (Fixed?)
- Important features missing like /record (Fixed)
- Loads of game crashes (Really?)
- Inaccurate (Historical) attachments on weapons (Again, not a bug)
- No voice comms like "Move In" etc (Not a bug)
- Vehicles in infantry based maps (CoD4 has no vehicles)
- Incredibly high chance of losing your profile saved data (I lost mine one on CoD4 and never on WaW)
- The Name System is horrible (Its a console system, so agreed)
- Clan Tag System is horrible (For PC, yes)
Your list is long simply because you are adding both non-existent bugs and bugs which cannot be compared between the two games. If a feature has changed, and is working [clan tags and names] then they cannot be added to a bug list.
A game without vehicles is NOT going to suffer from vehicle related bugs. When MW2 is released, maybe that will also suffer from these bugs (I can guarantee it will suffer at least similar).
Removal of features [voice comms] is again, not a bug, it is something that was removed.

So, without the vehicle related bugs, we suffer from 3 new bugs.
Passing through walls, elevating and inside objects.

Getting inside objects, I believe is also vehicle related, but wasn't sure.
Elevating (not sure what this is)
Passing through walls (this can be patched in seconds using a NEW feature that allows us to spawn collision models [with limitations])

A few, hardly game breaking bugs. Your post is very biased.

CoD4 missing bugs:
- See-through smoke.
- Bright lights (from RPGs)
- Broken banlists (fixed)
- Broken Redirect (fixed)
- Undetectable unpure clients (fixed)
- Server crash exploits (twice, fixed)
- Changing team Claymore/Grenade exploit
- Double Airstrike bug
- Gun-sway bug
- C4 bomb on S&D

When you think about it, all CoD games have had their fare share of bugs...

It's not only bugs, it's also stff which just plan suck compared to CoD4.

Elevating is using those invisible walls to float up. Common on consoles. Maybe even limited to consoles.

Compare UO to CoD5 vehicles then. There's none as far as I aware in UO, so all these bugs are still valid if comparing to UO.

ok, what bright lights from RPGs ? I don't know about the claymore/grenade exploit. Double Airstrikes almost never happens, just requires 2 people at the exact same time to use an airstrike. Gun-Sway bug is most notable with snipers. And C4 I should have listed since I just seen it :P

The RPG bright light is caused while lagging and fire , it causes bright explosion to float in place.

Elevator is limited to console to my knowledge.

UO - iD tech 3
CoD5: Call of Duty Propriety Engine

You simply cannot compare the two, they were built on separate engines, consider the fact that the vehicle damage, movement and combat was very simplified in UO, modern CoD games (and games in general) are trying to look realistic, so many things are done to do this. The more you add to a game, the more chance of bugs appearing.

Drop a grenade on your team, and change team (without selecting a weapon) quickly... boom, dead team. Same for claymore. This bug has existed since vCoD and IW has yet to come up with a solution.

A bug is a bug is a bug. It doesn't matter if you only see it once in a blue moon, if it exists, then it exists.
Gun-Sway bug is most notable with snipers.
Notable to snipers, still means it exists all round. All guns suffered from it.

If you want my honest opinion, both games suck, sadly there is nothing better though. I currently prefer playing ENEMY TERRITORY compared to these two. I am dreading to think what MW2 will be like.

Cant forget cod4 sounds... they are much better than waw, yet there are bugs with blowing up cars and barrels where the sound loops. REALLY ANNOYING. I cant tell you how many times ive ran past that red car on backlot and heard the noise. Also, you can hear it all over the map, not just in the area you should be able to.
