UPDATE (3.10.08):
Im offiziellen Call of Duty Forum, wurde heute Morgen folgende Aussage getÃ¤tigt:

TREYARCH ARE TRYING TO GET THE BETA RUNNING BY THE END OF NEXT WEEK! Cant say who told me but it should be up start of next week an NO tokens have been given out yet. THE RELEASE DATE SHOULD BE POSTED ON INTEL IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS.

nice, will be good to experiment bounce jumping, stacking, strafing, grenade jumps and bazooka jumps. Hell, maybe even the Satchel Charges can be used, sadly they didn't in UO.

That defeats the purpose of a demo.

A demo is a trial or demonstration of the game to help you decide if the game is right for you or not.
Forcing you to pre-purchase the game to try the demo kind of nullifies that.

A demo is the only reason I would condone the use of piracy in the World of Call of Duty.
