Nothing much, just thought I'd let you guys know. :P

Also, if you want to see what the map looks like basically, check the cod2 thread for more screenies.

Looks like a very detailed floor plan, indeed. Even better that it looks like a long map, currently quite a few of the CoD4 jump maps are short (mp_jump_camp is reasonably long, although a bit repetitive at times).

I'm willing to test the CoD4 version for you ;)

Oh man I LOVE IW and their backwards compatibility with previous Call Of Duties! (no sarcasm)

I just used the .gdt file from the cod2 assman and used it in cod4 assman. Works perfectly! Was able to import 150+ textures into radiant in a matter of minutes(5-10 tops). Also, the find/replace tool in Radiant is simply awesome. :D

Expect this map in a matter of days. :)

You know invisible mazes from cod2 and vcod? Well, this is worse. :D

Nah, j/k, it's sort of a puzzle. Haven't seen in any of the maps I've played so far. Basically you have to navigate through portals in different rooms.

Here are the instructions(also an ingame texture):
Welcome to the experimental
portal part of the facilities.

The chambers are divided into 12 parts (4x3).
Each chamber has 4 portals to choose from.
there is also a fifth portal in the corner should
you wish to reset your position and return to the
first chamber.

You must figure out the path through the portals
and find the exit. All of the chambers are colorcoded
for easier navigation through them.
(HINT: the final chamber is multicolored and
one of the portals in it leads to the exit.)

We here at officeplex inc. thank you for your time
and effort put into this test and sincerely hope
you will enjoy it rather than be
annoyed by it.

-----

I don't think it'll be done till friday. Unless I solve the many problem I have compiling the damn thing the chances of making the map by friday are next to none. :/
