Lots of people do not know how to even start out making there own custom FX. and i thought it might be a good idea to start a help forum with that topic and if it works out good keep it.

I will try and work up with something, its fairly simple, but some effects can get amazingly complicated.

I would like to know how to get an effect like in half life this teleporting thing on the planet and back that would be cool

What exactly do you mean lev, are you talking about the sprites that float around or do you mean the green black flash when you are teleported. I could try and make something like that.

A tutorial on using the FX editor would be sufficient, no need for a new forum. It could go in the mapping tutorials or even the modding forum.

u installed it with the modtools check the startmenu or check out the bin folder in teh Call of Duty 2 dir -> CoD2_EffectsEd.exe
