i need to see something in my map and i need the bsp editor to see if its in there because my map got an error=[ and doesnt have anything reallly
but i still have a recent bsp

BSP editor cannot be used to retrieve parts of a map, and there is no way to convert BSP to MAP.
BSP editor can only be used to MODIFY entities and nothing else, there is no way to decompile map.

ok drofder.=[ im sad that i cant get my .map back but ok. im changing the subject of this thread.
i wanted to start single player maps and i need to know how to compile a single player map. I know to select single player and compile but what else in the folders and what folders do i need?

SP is not really my area, look into the game files.

deadly, i could probably help u, wats wrong with ur map? cause if its the classic
ParseEntity: {not found
GetLastError() = 0 - 0
then there is a way to fix it

thanks but no. i dont think fix 197 could fix it its just everything got delted and i had the bsp from right before that happened

if u still have the .bak, u could rename it to .map and it'll work...

Ive been on google lately and they say the best decompiler is Q3map2. And i tried this on my map. Didnt work. I think ur just gonna have to remake ur map :\

Decompiler wont work anyway, no fuss.
CoD BSP's are different to Quake BSP's.

yea, CoD BSP you can not decompile, all tho im still questioning how The [)R. got brecourt and some other map decompiled...
