Can anyone find out whats wrong?

Hi i went to test this map but i noticed i had brushes over 2K units. I made them smaller and that, but still the map doesnt want to compile.

Nightmare has tryied it with skybox and hes removed the clips to see if thats whats wrong. Nope!


Could somone help out please. Theres a link of the map above. You may edit which way you want.

Don't bother, the problem is 3 duplicate plane errors: brush 175, 223 and 538. Remake them and it will compile.

Edit: + add a skybox :P

After looking at it, I cant see any direct problems other than what Luke put, but I would suggest you meet up with my best friend "Caulk". (Yes, my 'bestest' of best friend, second to the 'for loop').

You need some better friends drofder, Especially if your friends are developer textures. :P

lol KK but umm.. (most likly noob question) how do i delete the duplicate brushes?

EDIT: Crap i umm flushed the textures. :S umm now all the common textures are white ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

EDIT OF THE ABOVE EDIT: IT ok i fixed XD



Still need teh help on the compiling though :?

During compile you will see the following errors...

Entity 0, Brush 175: duplicate plane
Entity 0, Brush 223: duplicate plane
Entity 0, Brush 538: duplicate plane

Now to solve this is very simple...

- Open up your map
- Click Misc<Find Brush
- Put in the brush number
- Click Ok
- Delete the Brush (Backspace)
- Remake the brush
- Repeat.

You MUST start at the highest number first and work backwards

KK thanks thats that done, the planes anyway, it still doesnt compile.

EDIT: Ok i got teh shader errors away but that world stone. I dont know what that is?

Did you make a skybox? do you see a leak error?

Ohh crap skybox forgot just sec

EDIT: nope skybox didnt work.

Once I go to my dads house (friday) I can take a look at it to but if nightmare and drofder cant figure it out then I dnt think I will have much luch either

DONT THINK LIKE THAT!!! Umm i got custom textures for it as well, if that helps.

maybe that might be it since a few are named stone@training

lol, well tomarrow I guess we will find out, the funny thing is, I tried to open those .rars linux doesnt even read that file format, lol

Umm I already figured it out, its obviously something he's not doing right as it works for me. I'll upload the .map soon.
