Main Website Custom Map jump section

I do remeber someone saying they might add a Custom map Download section of all jumps found on custom maps.

So how about it.? is this going to happen or not.? Be a good idear to see one on there ya have COD, United Offence, COD2, now how abot Custom Maps section..

I know there be many jumps found and maybe a long list to add or list in near future, but you could have just a whole new page for Custom Map Jumps.

put all jumps under categories for every single map + hundreds of custom maps = no

There are simply hundreds of custom maps, we might stick with the forums with that I'd say.

Maybe sometime in the future a small solution will be done (more than likely just a better organisation of the forums).

To be honest I was thinking of only placing maps on the site which are either from other games (Medal of Honor, Counterstrike) or maps converted to CoD2 (Neuville, Depot, Rocket etc).

I am willing to do it, but we wouldn't have EVERY custom map (that'd be ridiculous, obviously), we'd just have the main popular ones which have a reasonable amount of jumps on.

I think we should work on the other section we talked about Peds, custom maps can wait.

Yeah, better that we organise the more important bits first.

I know this is an old topic, but this could still be very successful. If you want i can film some demos and place into rars (all demos from a certain map go into a rar.) It doesnt matter if we get all jumps like but as long as we get a few its ok. It doesnt need as much attention as other things, just a list

I think this is a really good idea. I can make many many demos, i have hours of spare time.

My vote Yes.. I can make some demo's to. Only there are to many custom map's and who decides when a costume map is popular... ??

well to be honest, it doesnt need much attention. Just a few jumps per map (maybe just cod 2 for the start) , and basically not every map but just the ones people maybe on these forums find popular. imo theres about 4 good maps off the top of my head

Powcamp (definate)
Eindhoven (possible)
Bizerte (not a hugely popular map but its used, and has a few VERY nice jumps)
MOHAA Bridge (very good map, could have some decent jumps)

Thats basically what we could do, a few of us could volunteer to just check out these maps for a while, and see what we make of it. Then all it needs when weve found most/all of the jumps, just pop them in a rar and put on site. I think that the site is very good but i havent checked the website in ages, theres nothing new (not criticising anyone, theres not much more we COULD add.). It would cut down some posts about previous topics on the same map (which i do a lot of )

Im 100% commited to do this if anyone else is up for it. Even if it doesnt turn out a huge success, its something to do for a change.
