University offers

Well, I found out this morning that I have not received an offer from Oxford - to be fair I wasn't expecting to get an offer anyway as my test didn't go brilliantly and my interview wasn't great either - that and the 16 to 3 ratio of interviewees to places.

So far I've got the following:

Bath - AAB (Economics)
Durham - AAB (Economics @ Hatfield)
Newcastle - ABB (Financial & Business Economics)
Nottingham - AAA/AABB (Economics and Econometrics)
Oxford - Rejected (Economics & Management @ Trinity)

The final university I applied to was LSE for Business Maths & Statistics, although I've decided I now dislike statistics with a passion, so that application is kinda void, thereby leaving me with the choice of Bath, Durham, Nottingham and Newcastle.

my choice is Newcastle

OK, I didn't understand a word of that

I live in Newcastle at the moment, but it's not as highly rated as the others for Economics, so if I decide to study at Newcastle university then I'll have a less respected degree (but a respected degree nonetheless).

I wouldnt go to newcastle if I were u, then u wouldnt have a reason to go live outdoors.

Nottingham, never pass up the chance of learning new tricks, especially econome-tric(k)s!

Unlucky with Oxford, its a shame really, you are slowly losing your place as "the 2nd smartest person I know"

If they don't want a genious in their university then in my opinion it's their loss. I had a lot to offer, but they'll never get it now.

I think you will find "genious" is actually spelt genius.

Anyone else love it when these mistakes pop up, I make 'em quite often, but when you are trying to make yourself out to be a genious (sic) then it makes it twice as funny. gg Peds.
