Weird test error.

Post by Rezil » September 30th, 2006, 1:52 pm

Ok, this is the weirdest error that ever happened to me. So I make some final adjustments for jm_city, add some background prefabs, some models, brushes, etc. Anyway, all of the usual stuff.
I compile it, everything's ok, I make an .iwd file, still everything peachy keen. But then, what I start CoD2mp_s.exe and write /devmap jm_city, all I see is the loading screen and then the program crashes telling me that there was an illegal exeption, blah blah, don't send. Has anyone had this problem before? Is my map maybe to large? It's 15mb without .iwd compression.
Please help me. :(

not too big, could you give the exact error please? Also, have you played on any modded servers recently where you had to download something?

Sure, the details are:

AppName: cod2mp_s.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: cod2mp_s.exe
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 0004a67a

I dont know what all those numbers mean and was hoping you could point me to the error.

Ok, I'll send it to you via e-mail because a 3mb file would take too long to upload...
