You guys never downloaded apps for mirc?
I used to play Subspace ages ago, now continuum, and there was a room I used to hang in regularily, #subicide I believe
And we had a tank wars game, it was that old dos style game, with two tanks on a terain and you change your angle and veloicty and try to blow up the other tank---The name is Scorched Earth, I'm not good with names, I always forget
But I cannot seem to find it online right now :(

If people don't wanna download and go to the trouble of installing mIRC, there's always chatzilla for firefox HERE it's basically an IRC client that doesn't take up much room or distract from whatever you're doing, exceptionally easy to set up...

and many sites have irc:// links so you click on them and it'll open it automatically :D failing that you may only get a channel name then it's a case of finding out the website's server

let's say the quadv channel on quakenet is where you're headed it'd just be a case of typing into the address bar irc://irc.quakenet.org/quadv and hitting enter it'll connect to the server and open the channel :)

Open mIRC. Go File>Options>Connect>Perform

Under Network, choose All Networks.

Then put whatever you want it to automatically perform there and it'll do it each time you connect. Here's an example:
/join #cod-tv.uk
/join #cod4.wars
/join #codjumper
If you put that in then it'll automatically join to those 3 channels each time you connect to an IRC server. You can add other commands like /nick etc., not just join commands.

I believe you mean #cod.pracc (AFAIK #cod4.pracc is practically empty).

#codjumper does exist. I'm in it all of the time (well, my 'bouncer' is when I'm offline).
