I couldnt agree more that editable portfolios for every member would be great... Newest and top rated if possible searches would be great.

Also, this is sorta looking way ahead but A SOTW (Signature of The Week) competition could be hosted. Maybe like 1 sig entry a week per person (optional) then have a chosen few to select winners? doesnt sound that hard. Just a a forum section for SOTW and each week will have a new topic "SOTW Week #1"?

Thanks,

Also, the type of encryption used on forum accounts is going to be annoying to set up with the new site. AND the new site would then be using several databases, making it messy to create. Much easier (from my point of view) for folks to quickly register that want to use this graphics site - simple email / user / pass / word verification. Just generally a lot easier if each person has a single database record for them.

Sounds Great! Way over my head but ur a genius you can get it to work.

I propose:

- A different looking site - simple and clean.
- Essentially a gallery - with filters for newest / artists name / top rated (possibly)
- a simple form to upload sigs (can also double as hosting for peoples forums sigs)
- When users upload a sig - it displays code to embed it in their sig on forum (e.g with the [img] tags - and html code option)
- User IP logged when they submit a graphic
- A 'password' that enables select few to delete any abusive images or w/e.
- Potentially a user rating system (if I get a good one working, could copy this over to demos / maps on site possibly)
- option to filter to avatars / upload avatars?
- Anti bot
- Sig of the week
Im guessing this is the list you asked for additions to.

Well as seen on several graphics sites ive been to they have a signature battles/Graphics Battles what ever you wanna call it, where people can challenge anybody who would be signed up in the graphics section and post some reqirements (date, style, type [such as horizontal, vertical, size, category] then the community votes as replys to determine the winner.

Think about it? Not a need but maybe a want.

Lol, thats sounds intense. I find that blankets make a good roof, and chairs are good for support
that's a nice pic and all, but out of all the pictures you could have taken why'd you take a picture of a plant? :P

Because plants have some really small details. If a plant comes out nice in a photo, you have yourself a good camera ;)

Yes, but if boobs come out really well in a photo you have a picture of boobs

Looks pretty good to me, but it's kind of hard to tell because it's just a rough sketch.

One question, is it only going to be sigs and avatars? I thought it would be for any type of graphic design work.

Login Page: http://www.codjumper.com/gfx/5.jpg

Manage personal work (might add this to navigation menu actually): http://www.codjumper.com/gfx/6.jpg

Note that the same header and border will be on each page so that it looks consistent - and that the header has the navigation links in. Also note that when I have simply wrote 'border' that will include the same 'pattern' or edging that divides the content from page background.
I think its great but on the home page I think it should be Top Rated Artists, instead of New Members. New members seems like an odd thing to place on a main page to me.

EDIT: Also I think the "Featured sig" on the main page could be the SOTW... if that ends up happening. If not it could be a top rated xD
