Well that command worked great /sv_pure 0. but when i upload the map to my server it saids can't read .bsp

I dont want to type /rcon sv_pure 0 because i dont no what it does. what does this command do???

is there a reason y all my new maps have to have this command for them to work.

You need to make it into a pk3 for servers. Check the sticky tutorial.

I'm not new at map making i made it a .pk3 file

and with that command on i can play the map running my own server but when i upload it to my server it saids it can't read the .bsp file.

have you made an arena file?

Your "map" folder inside the .pk3 should be renamed "maps". Guess that's the problem.
