i use the mx510 now been looking at the laser one but theres really no difference exepct the optical difference to the mx 1000
laser = 800 dpi
mx510= 800 dpi

so im sticking to this one for now

I find that the one really good thing about the mx1000 is the feel of it in ur hand, it fits all of the hand and feels really comfortable it was the buttons that i couldn't get used to, they just seemed far to sensitive the first time i tried it but because of my sweaty palm it must have clogged it up lol :?
