fast file or bsp not compiling right

hello,

i've started mapping 1 week ago and i've begun learning radiant etc.
made my map compiled it played it changed it bla bla
but i've hit a problem
if i change anything in my map in radiant (new brush for example) and compile bsp reflections and fast file
i can play the new map with the new added brush in the compiler fine (step 5 run selected map) this tells me that my bsp does compile (ithink?) but when i open up cod4 and use /devmap mp_mapname (mapname obviously being my map) it doesnt use the new updated bsp it just uses an older one.
so the new bsp doesnt get put into the new fast file and i have no clue why?
appreciate any help

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it has something to do with the .gsc file. I had the same problem and when I started scripting it, it finally started to work. Try that, sorry I couldn't be any more help.
