Getting this problem when I compile reflections the first time in that specific map.

"Error during initialization: Can't find shader: shader_bin/ps_2_0_3feIc8af"

Got no idea what is wrong, won't get any map to work now with this pc :/

right click cod4 compile tools.exe -> run as administrator. Try that..if not you have most likely installed it wrong or is corrupt.

Seems to be corrupted then when that didn't work :(. Really would like to make a map, but like this I never will be able to..

Got links to the site from where you downloaded radiant? I'll try one last time to re-download it, if it would work..

Get the 1.1 update for the mod tools as well:

It seems to actually fix your problem.
Fix for shader_bin error in CoD4Radiant and CoD4EffectsEd

Still the same error :( nvm.. I won't start mapping then.

Neither will Cod4player work for me..

Cod4 itself has problems with me... Won't allow anything else than just the game itself to work :(

Thx anyway guys, we'll see if I start going deeper with this thing some other day. Now having a hard time irl anyway so.

You take care, I'll try to.
Thx

Me and my friend Ultimate took a little look at why Radiant wouldn't work. Had a about 2hour talk with him, and found out the reason.

When I did install Cod4 i did install it to a specific folder, not the one itself would choose.

Radiant is scripted that way that Cod4 needs to be in the place it it chosen to be in in the beginning. So when I re-installed Cod4 and let it go to the place it wanted itself, I got radiant to work with it too.

So now everything is fine. Just to start mapping :)

Thx anyway guys!
