That file IS your problem.

It is not a CJ file and as such I have no idea what its purpose is and/or who scripted it.
If you want help on that file, either post it in full or contact the scripter who created it.

Bullshit, I asked him to post it.

This is the OSG mod I assume (Oldschool Glitchout?).
Why do you have the stock files? - If you have permission to use the stock files and the developer is refusing to help, then contact me via PM, I will get something sorted - but contact them first.

Edit:
All websites, forums, links, etc for "Glitchout" seem to go to random locations. In 2010 on this forum someone mentioned "Buzzard" (the creator of OSG?) left Glitchout and took the script with him?

Can someone link to any updated OSG website/contact?

See my edit above.

I cannot find any info on the existence of OSG (again assuming it is OSG) since 2010.

OSG is pretty old clan which has been renamed to eXtreme Oldschool(Xo) clan. Then the community fall appart and new Glitchout(Go) clan was made, hopefully that community will stay alive.

The OSG versions of scripts were public becouse back then we didn't know that scripts can be hidden. Later some versions of Glitchout scripts were put(if Buzzard did)/leaked public. Now these newer scripts has never been public, and since I've been making these scripts too I hold some rights and that's why I asked for removal.

As I was checking the version of scripts I figured that are identical to the ones I've trusted to Mojo for his Anonymous server. As I know he backed off from administrating the server and left the scripts.

OSG and later eXtreme Oldschoo(Xo)
Glitchout Clan (Go)

And by the way, Buzzard isn't creator of OSG but he was the main scripter in our community. The creator of OSG was Perez.

I hope you've found yourself some explanation here.

Cheers,

Tommy

Not really, I am still confused.

1. First link to "OSG" has 2 members, no forums and related links go to a dead website (no content). Last post was over 2 years ago.
2. Second link to "Glitchout" has 0 members and same scenario as above.
3. Related website is in 'sample' mode.
4. Where would somebody go for help regarding the mod?
5. Where did he get the scripts, if they are not public?

I did get this script from MoJo. We had brought this server from him awhile back. I was just trying to find someone to help me with some of the errors that was coming up. These files have not been given to anyone else.

The fact you bought that server (imo) gives you full rights over what you choose to do with the files on it.
It is up to you how you continue:

1. Contact the owner - (although I have yet to find a way to contact them)
2. Upload the files and send them private.
3. Upload the files and post them public.

The order I posted them in, is the order I recommend you do things
If you choose to send them to me privately, I will keep them private

I would not choose #3 unless they refuse to help and you cannot find help privately.

None of these clans is active anymore, so you can't find any recent activity. And as setman already said he got scripts from Mojo which were given from me. I trusted him that he won't put scripts away but yet, there are some other owners now.
Drofder2004 wrote:1. Contact the owner - (although I have yet to find a way to contact them)
I don't know if you noticed or not, but Buzzard and I made this scripts. I have never refused to help anyone, especialy not with our scripts. I've always helped Mojo when he needed help and there's no reason I wouldn't now. And I don't see it hard to contact me. Or so?

And since Buzzard stopped scripting and playing CoD4 I've taken general ownership over this scripts.

I know there's no way I can stop these scripts going public but would be fair to me and Buzzard that they wouldn't. I hope there's still some justice on this world.

So setman, I hope you'll contact me and we can solve problems you have.

Thanks,

Tommy

I did know you had anything to do with this script. My google searches never once found your name associated with OSG.
Tommy991 wrote:I have never refused to help anyone, especialy not with our scripts. I've always helped Mojo when he needed help and there's no reason I wouldn't now.
So, instead of calling him a bad person for posting a file for which he in theory has some ownership of - why don't you be polite, request he remove the file and then try and help? You didn't even tell him who you were -.-

Show one public source that states you are a member, creator, helper involved in OSG... It is impossible to contact the developer of something if you do not know who the developer is and the wares have no source.
