Get Dishonored, it's one of the best games I've ever played.

This for sure. Absolutely beautiful game - I personally shunned this game for a long time thinking it would be just gimmicks, but it great.

If you enjoyed Borderlands 1, then Borderlands 2 is basically an rich expansion. Much fun has been had (and still have not completed the latest DLC).

Psychonauts has great reviews, and is dirt cheap.
Divinity 2 was a great RPG also (didn't play the previous though) - currently a flash sale.

Borderlands is a must have. I'm enjoying Borderlands 2 so much. The pirate DLC had me laughing so much, currently playing through Mr Torgue's DLC. EXPLOOOOOOOOOSIONS MOTHERF*CKER!

Went ahead and bought The Prince of Persia pack.

Played the first 2 games on console a long time ago (Not to mention the very first game on the NES which was a bitch to complete, lol).

Nothing great on todays sale, although interestingly, after I clicked "DOTA 2", it said "You already own this game" (which I do not, have never been given beta access and it isn't in my list) - and it allows me to download it :?

You have the game because someone has gifted it to you.

Nobody has gifted me the game, and I don't have any copies of it in my inventory. However I can download it. It's not even in my library.
This.
I have not got it in my inventory and I have not been gifted it (I would've realised).

The fact is, there is a bgu in the code that is clearly allowing beta access to everyone, most likely because there is no price tag.
(same as how everyone owns TF2).

Arx Fatalis, Darksiders, Day of Defeat, and Hacker Evolution Duality are the only games on my account I've never played. The others that don't have playtime I either have a retail copy of or played so long ago that Steam doesn't have a record of it.
