/r_fullbright 1?

Hello,

Just wondering if it is possible to enable fullbright on a public server without punkbuster. I've tried it before however, it didn't work.

I found out it had something to do with it being some sort of cheat. My friend told me you could bypass it somehow but I'm unsure how to.

If it's possible to enable fullbright on a public cod4 server pre 1.7 patch without punkbuster, please tell me if it is possible or not.
If it is possible, please be kind and tell me how to?

it would be cheating. You see trough smoke and flash. Whats the reason to do it? More FPS?
And whos your Friend? Will gladly ban him from all servers
