God that looks awesome, shame it'll be a trilogy though.
Waiting a few years for all 3 movies to come out is a real buzzkill for me, even though it'll be way more detailed than if it was only one movie, but still.
Nevertheless, can't wait for the battle of riddles.

I'm sorry, LOTR doesn't do it for me anymore.
Don't get me wrong I liked the trilogy but after that a shit load of games came out which never matched the vibe of the movies.

Agreed. Lord of the Rings has been around since 1947, plus it's pretty much the basis for all modern fantasy from Dungeons and Dragons to Skyrim. I've read the book in English (Was really difficult) and I got the LotR CE (Yeah!) but I never read The Hobbit so this will be interesting. Playing LotRO now and there's quite some hints regarding Bilbo's adventure, so I am pretty stoked.

It's worth keeping in mind that The Hobbit was meant to be a children's book. So, while it'll still be awesome, don't expect the same level of awesome as LOTR.
