Some people can deal with the issues in different ways. This is not an issue of serious gaming or a way of getting more likes (at least not in the traditional sense).

Yes he is trying to get more likes, but I would assume that the appreciation for dedication in this situation is for an uplift in morale, not a personal gain in any other sense.

I would not be looking for someone to rate this as a token of his ability, but to rate this as art in memorian to his loss, deaths are hard to cope with and you should respect the methods in which people pay tribute.

Drofder, I couldn't have said it better myself. If that's the way he wants to express himself after the loss of someone he loves then so be it. I think the only reason he asked for the likes is so he can feel like he has support of people around him, while he's doing what he loves. Maybe people think its attention seeking or whatever but if someone tries to put there emotions into a movie (even if those emotions are clear) doesn't mean he should be accused of trying to get likes, since he released it, he seems a little happier so it must have helped him, therefore I say fuck anyone who doesn't understand! It's helped him so that's all that matters.

Unfortunately while true, you should not avoid doing something on the offchance someone is going be an arsehole about it.

He could easily have disabled comments and the vote features if that was a worry.

Edit is very nice and impressive indeed - I find it hard to believe someone wouldn't leave a like regardless of whether or not it's in 'honour' of his ex.
