I mean to_the_moon has floating platforms and no theme but people love it -_-

Well did i ever say anything about no floating platforms? no. i simply said that one of the criteria is that the map "looks good." Imo mptothemoon fullfills this by using colorful textures and having rooms that are not bland, but add at to the map - which makes it less of a floating platform map - even though it still is - its just a good looking one with jumps that many people seem to like.

You're bound to say that, it's your map. I didn't say you said anything about floating platforms. I'm just saying what I hear from most people. How does to_the_moon have any style of theme what so ever? It's striped glass, orange, brick and green bounces. With a few red/black ones. IMO theres too many textures. Hey, don't get defensive, you don't mind pointing out issues with my maps. I only said it in conversation. to_the_moon has no theme at all apart from a speed run to the moon, hence mp_to_the_moon.

I never said anything about my map not having a theme as it clearly does not lol. Your putting words in my mouth. What does that have to do with anything? imo maps dont need a "theme" to be good. They just need to look descent and not look awful - i do this by having glass like textures and walls that compliment the platforms. thats it. You could do the same sort of thing.
