Could you make the plane fly in from much further away and put the text on that instead of having it on a black background?

Just back into COD2 after 4 years, atm I'm playing every night.. before the rest comes online, i'm trying the old jump maps.. (I stink)

ps good to see the 'old' CJ members are still active/ alive :)

Update:

Progress is really slow at the moment, the mapping is pretty much complete but I rarely find time to work on the scripting. That, coupled with a hectic work/college schedule means that the release date for this map keeps getting pushed back. I can't even give you a rough estimate except 'hopefully this year'.

On the bright side, I have a different project finished and ready for release. I'm just waiting for a few clan logos from the 'graphic designer' to import.

Will keep the thread updated based on the interest of the community. :P

May I suggest a few street lamps (maybe with flickering effect?) to add a little atmosphere to the surroundings.

There's already enough lamps on the other side of the pier, across the bridge. I've added some more light sources though.

In regards to the beta testing, I already have a group of beta testers. You guys will just have to wait for the public beta or version 1.0. :)
