Climb bounce debate

Hello guys me and a few friends are having a large debate (sounds gay i know), but they seem to think climb bouncing has been around for years, but i say it was found about a year ago (by me and moose, an accident).

I said that if it was found years ago, how did no 1 in codjumper know about this?

please need your suggestions .
