Hi all, i have set up a CJ server, but no one can find it

my command line is

+set dedicated 2 +set net_ip localhost +set net_port 28930 +set fs_game mods/codjumperv3_1 +exec server.cfg +map_rotate

but its not working, ports are open too

Homebuild, or @ a proffesional server hoster?

homebuild - it was working when it was promod -_-

Although i do have a server sitting next to me with server 2003 on, but it doesnt work on there for some reason

Can you join, or you can't eighter?

i can join using my lan address, fine as anything, but others cant. I have checked the firewall and its allowed through, as are the ports.

That seems pretty strange, that when you used promod everthing worked find. And now you use cj, only you can join. I think you have messed up something in your .cfg file. Try to compare the .cfg file of promod and the cfg file of cj. I think that there must be the problem in (I don't have much knowledge about that, so I could be completly wrong)

Will do thanks, i think i may have to try re installing the mod and possibly the game, if no luck then.......i may cry :'(

What do you mean with "no one can find it"? People cant see it in the serverbrowser or cant connect via /connect?
When i jumped with my friends earlier days i didnt use the "commandline"-way. Try this:

1. Start Cod4
2. Mods-CoDJumper
3. Start new server (set Dedicated: NO)
4. Start Game
5. Type in console "/showip"
6. Send the "first!" IP to your friends and let them connect(no Port needed!)

this should work as it worked for me 100 times
If it doesnt work its may a problem with the mod(?). try an older version then

Facepalm.

When I do mine just set it dedicated 2. Then go to google, type "my ip", and connect to your own server with that ip (default port will be 28960 unless you stated otherwise in your command line). If you connect that way, when people try join your game on xfire it should work, if not just paste them the ip and they should be able to connect fine with that.
