fps switching

hello a few people may know me on cj#10. im from australia but enjoy that server. some may know that i only have 125 fps because of my shit computer. well yesterday i got a new one and i can get 333 fps. i know the fps switching binds but whats keys should i use. im not gonna use my mouse cause i play pub a lot

i play pub alot as well, but when i go to pub, i just change mouse2 button to toggle aim down sight.. i use this.
/bind 3 bind mouse2 toggle com_maxfps 125 250 333.
/bind l bind mouse2 toggle com_maxfps 333 250 125, and
/bind n bind mouse2 toggle com_maxfps 333 250.

When you push 3 l or n, it binds your mouse2 button to that toggle fps. this is how i do it. others use scroll up / down etc. you can keep all of these binds in pubs no probs, just change your right mouseclick to aimdown sight in the controls menu when you pub. works for me ^^

I use:
/bind mouse3 toggle com_maxfps 125 333
/bind mwheelup toggle com_maxfps 250 333
Gets all the fps switches anyone should need on the mouse wheel. I use the numbers to switch weapons.

It's better to bind it to the mouse, because you need to keep your fingers on the keys at all times for a good strafe or bounce.

I usually just use MOUSE2 or MWHEELUP. It doesn't matter if you play pub or not, you can just change the controls before playing.

i use this way but f10,f11,f12 and mouse3 (press mousewheel) instead

Actually yes you will OR, you can edit your config_mp.cfg to include the binds. this is what i do.

I have side buttons on the mouse called mouse4 and mouse5. So I bind the switches to those buttons that way I can still shoot and jump On mouse5 i have a 250 333 toggle and on mouse4 i have a 125 250 333 toggle and i change my my mouse5 from time to time depending on the bounces im trying. So idk i have you have those side buttons but if you do then start using them because you can time the switches pretty good like that

Yea but it sounds like you just invested in a new computer to get good fps. So why not invest a little more in a good mouse so you can use this fps well?

Or make 2 profiles, 1 for jumping and 1 for public
