Hi, i recently dowloaded some jump maps and dropped the .pk3 file in to /main , when i try and join a server the maps always say 'Unpure client' and some other garble, n e ideas, thanks

nw im guessing u have mods in ur main folder....so delete the mods and u should be able to watch the demos...

well make sure the map is saved to your cod main and make sure there are no mods! this will effect it

o.k so i got rid of mods and i got on...but (there is always a but) i deleted a mod that i need for another server and now when i have auto d/l on it just goes to the d/l screen and says at the bottom downloading 0bytes out of 0bytes. Also i cant stay on any jumpserver long before the game crashes and then after bout 15 seconds of no movement sound NOTHING i can hear sound and when ipress the move keys i can hear my footsteps but its the same crashed image on the screen

there are several jump servers, and u aint the only one to get this error....there seems to be a lot of f****d up maps, not saved correctly or not the final release of the map on servers..i get the same error also, mostly with that map pack...i get it on that wall server a lot, and i think they save the zip as a pk3, which includes a .txt file and that causes the error..all the maps on the /maps page were fixed some time ago tho, so u just have to extract the pk3 file from the zip and should work fine..just make sure the map on the server came from the same place as u downloaded it. also the maps only work with dm or tdm

I got the maps 30mins previous to posting on these forums,so i would presume they are the versions running on the servers. I know of 4 jump servers, 3 RHK servers, Groms Jump server and #teamverb. i eaxtracted the .pk3 fil from the d/l and put it in the main directory.

ok i'm pretty sure groms server is running the current maps from the site, and i'm guessing u got these maps from the site..you should disable auto downloading when trying to join tho..if u still get the unpure client error then i'm sorry i cant help u

2. i dont like ur attitude m8 i was helping....
3. yes i can read and mods can effect maps, i cant play mp_ou_barberossa (i think that map has its own mod) without deleting other mods in my main folder...
