BO Mod tools out..How about a MOD

YO all, i got to find out the BO Mod tools are avalible now,and i just downloaded them from steam just to make sure,and yes they was avalible, was told they was released about 1 week ago,which i didnt know about untill yesterday.


So now the Mod tools are avalible will CJ make a Save Position mod for all just keen jumpers to find cool jumps on the maps we have so far,untill we hopefully get Radiant to make our own jump maps .???

I have heard that Radiant may be release with the 3rd and final DLC Map pack, or just after, so i think a few Cool jump map makers might start making maps for BO once Radiant is release. ?


So for now , how about a nice save position mod for us to get along with,

would like to see Mod with normal hand gun and RPG like the COD 4 Mod... So how about it guys.. PLEASE. :P :!: :?:

I had a test jump mod to try the maps and tbh i wouldn't bother as everything is clipped and even if you did manage to somehow get high, you would be killed by kill triggers above all the maps. Also no fps commands such as r_fullbright or even the choice to draw decals. Very poor. :(

Drofder said that there wont be a mod, untill the release of radiant. But correct me if I'm wrong tho.
btw. the 3rd dlc isnt the last one ... there´ll be one more called Retaliation-DLC and its going to be out in september .
so no radiant till, atleast october :p

what is radiant? :shock: this is pc talk right? id love a cod4 or black ops mod for ps3.

I did create a test mod aswell, with some basic functions: save/load/suicide, no damage, infinite ammo and infinite care packages for jumping. The care packages have actually come in handy, I found a nice wall breach in firing range which allows you to get out of the map. But, as said earlier, there isn't any fullbright or fx toggle (that I know of), so FPS will be a big issue. If you want it, I'll send it, but there's not much you can do in BO with regards to jumping.

Omce radiant is out just take the already made map models and just clip everything, and get rid ofthe death triggers and invisible walls, cause then it would be jumpable. And you could discover your own jumPs instead of a jumP map with set paths. Btw, what about that wall breach on firing range? How high up is it?

There is fullbright (or atleast was a few weeks ago, not sure if any recent patches has removed it) but it has to be scripted into your mod, you can't just /devmap then /r_fullbright.

That's good news, so how do you do it? Also, is there a way to turn off fx?

I think it was just self setClientDvar("r_fullbright", 1); somewhere in the script wherever necessary. As for FX, I'm not sure, but I'll look into it.

What was the setting for FX off, because I couldn't see a command for it in the dvardump?

Works great as a Save Mod, but coukld do with adding the RPG if possible, as i think i found a couple of jumps that may not be clipped.??

Can you add RPG to it if possible please.

You can't RPG jump..it doesn't give you any height boost.

Then somethink else with high boost would be cool>> anything that counters as A BOOST.

Like to see Mod with

Gun, NADES, RPG OR SIMULAR WITH GOOD BOOST.
