I am thinking to begin mapbuilding, but before doing that i have a question. Is it really needed that you can script for mapbuilding. Or is that only for adding some cool stuff to it?

If you want to use triggers, an elevator, floating moving platforms you have to use scripting !
My thought on this is, without scripting normaly the map looks dull.

Casual Scripting isn't that hard and there are alot of people here willing to help which are excellent at it.

K i will try it this long easter weekend, and i will take a look at how far i come:)
