can you plz tell me how to make water so you move faster in?

I dont think you can change the qualitys of water, but I will take a look (maybe you can change the shader or stype ?)

i think theres some in dan_jumpv3 after the first set of ladders, i guess it might not be the water but something else

:? do you mean the dark water thats like an ocean? and is has waves? :? in the middle :o cos thats just the water texture from mp_ship :)

no its clear, u cant see it, but if u shoot at it u can hear and see the impact..u can walk in it as if nothings there..its in the section after those orange ladders

i no what youre talking about, pedsdude has it in what i played of peds_sewer.. ask him about it..

Ther is a texture called fastwater...

not sure if its any different as they all use the same "stype" values (the values that tell the texture how to work).

lol having looked at it, it appears to be common water, but no sfx...dont think i want mine like that..... so if u land in the water on my map it could be a long walk back without the save mod :P

Luke use the texture called cushion found in common

Common > Cushion

Its like red see through I think and says cushion all over it... make it about 2-4 units high and place it on top of the floor... that way when you fall you dont lose any HP at all :D Thanks to Zaitsev as he taught me that one 8)

:o then put the cushion stuff at the bottom and a water texture at the top but only make the water texture like 20 units or something at the top... so when you fall you fall through the water texture then through nothing?(theres no air in CoD :lol: 0_0) then onto the cushion...

Or you could err use a custom alpha texture that looks like water and add the water sfx sound to it or w/e so people think its water when they drop down :D

If your not meant to be in the water, why not make it a trigger hurt and make it kill you :P

Common/Trigger
Make it sit on top of the water.
right click on 2d and select "Trigger<hurt"
then press N
Then add these values
Key - dmg
Value - #

where # = amount of pain! ;)
