dunno about shooting trough. I just sit there and waited for enemies. Took them ages to kill me. They spawned there

Thats gay as fuck, but also I love how at start of the video it says "we are not encouraging people to hack, just trying to inform treyarch of the problem", yet in step number 6, it says "Have fun hacking! =D"

Incredible how such things get through into the game.

It's not as worse as the permanent radar in CoD4 though, that's the worst. I could easily win 1 vs 5 (Probably more ) with that using on a large map like Strike. Tried that for one side on the map on my clanserver (It was like 10v10) and I laughed how fucking easy that was. People actually used that for months untill it became widely public.

Yeah, there was a load of other things you could do with that exploit aswell which were potentially even worse.

You could change pretty much all `on-screen` client commands. For example, if using sleight of hand, you could change perk_fastreload to something like 0.01, so it reloads in 0.01% of the normal time, rather than 50%. However I think that may have only showed it reloading fast on your screen, but you actually had to wait the normal time for it finish reloading.

But other visible things like ADS times, recoil, etc could be changed and worked.

U rly think those commands are not cheat protected?
There are maybe some cmds which treyarch forgot, but definatly not the perk_ and specialy_ and that stuff...

Have a look in a dvar dump, there u can see that all usefull dvars are cheat protected, and the r_znear thing will be 100percent patched in the next update, the video tutorial got already blocked by activision...

1) I was talking about CoD4, nothing to do with Treyarch.
2) I'm on about the first patch of CoD4, not the most recent patches.
3) Yes, they were cheat protected, but there was an exploit (which I'm not going to post) which allowed you to bypass any cheat protected commands.

There are still loads of "wallhugs" (like that xD) on CoD4.
