I made a custom skybox and named it "z_sunset.iwd", now I want to use it on my Promodlive204 server, but the problem is if I just add the file to the mod's folder it gives the following error:

error
script compile error
unknown function
(see console for details)


I read that I can fix this by copying the mod.ff file to the mods folder, but when I do that, the promodlive204.iwd and z_ruleset.iwd aren't executed anymore, so I'm just playing with a modded sky in a non-modded game.

Can anyone help me?

For CoD 1? There's your problem! .iwd is not the CoD 1 mod type. It's .pk3 plain and simple.

I'm guessing this is meant for CoD4, will leave in CoD for now.

Do /developer 1 and then start the server, what is the full error you get.

If I new how you made the sky then i can tell you where you went wrong coz i make skys most of the time..
