I am working at the moment on a new cod2 map. It will be in quake style.

Ok I've tested it so far.

This is gonna be really nice map, including a lot of scripting, really quake style because there are high bouncing jumps
and stuff like that, u know. But yesterday I couldn't join them I had to test it offline because lol Im banned on CJ server for no reason, but whatever.

There are few jumps impossible, but as Leviathan said yesterday there could be problems with MoveGravity because it acts different on differents PC's.

Map style is really ok, doesn't seem really realistic, but I think that was purpose of the mapper. Makes it really fun, because it isnt.
I won't be talking about the gameplay, there are a lot of bouncing jumps, moving platforms, what makes the map hardly, and more fun.

Youre mapping good so far mate, I heard thats just the begining of the map and you have some really nice ideas.

OMG looks awesome! I had a simmilar idea with the bouncing platforms but you've implemented it much better than me. :)

Update


+ finally figured out how to completely control the power of the bounce :DD

+ added additional blocks, see vid + scripting
+ added red blocks and jumppads, will be available when you've finished the map, there will be some platforms and pads so you can fully free jump through the map or bounce etc...

# fixed reset for the up/down platforms
# fixed bouncing castle

Scripting for the orange part (without the jumppads):

Nah i've played some time ago a vcod map with those bounces, and remade them kinda, but with the hint from braX. I've made the bounce more controllable. And it's playerfinishdamage

Yep, I was thinking to myself how you would incorporate this idea, and then after watching the video, it was clearly damage based knockback. Never played any zombie mod so have never seen this incorporated before.
