Something like this is old ? I find it very clever to find something like this on your own, even if it's old (I never seen it before).

If you want to get technical about it, it can be "old" if the person has found it and never bothered to post it, but they have no proof except their memory, which we cannot read in the same way that we read a memory stick yet.

First to post proof of a jump gets credit. It's that simple.

For the simple-minded, it is.

No, it's 'first come, first serve'.

Credit means nothing anyway, if you know that you found a jump before the first video of it, then be pleased with yourself, but you most likely won't be able to get credit from anyone else.

Credit means a lot to some people. What's there to facepalm about ?

Every single demo I updated shows credit.

I strongly disagree with your views, that's why I used facepalm, which shows major frustration.

what happened to community spirit? even before mw2 came out, people would say: the jump is MINE

no its not... it's the communities, you are simply helping the community by finding these things. And the people who help the community the most are often the least recognized, yet you don't see them bitching and moaning on the forums all day

Dude is probably on my top list of people who helped me overtime. He found so many awesome jumps and bounces and he always asked me if I wanted his demos. Almost never the other way around. Also whenever I needed help he was almost there every time. Why would't I give him credit for the work he has done ? Because sometimes there's hours and hours of work put into some jump series. The one I personally am most proud of are:

&

I've done shitloads of awesome jumps on CoD:UO. Never given credit to myself. But if a jump is that awesome, and when I (Or someone else) put shitloads of hours into it, then the credit to yourself and the helpers is in place.

Also, I can't remember me ever flaming someone that I found it before. But plain old stealing your video and giving credit to yourself is just lame (Which was done with Out of Nightfire on CoD5). Got it quickly removed from youtube though

I personally know the people who helped me a lot during CoD4. Evil Warrior, Dude, Alex, Crash, Pres, Damsel, Raptus and even you Innkeeper. So I know who are helpful in my book
